 Who Needs the Training?

Business people or students who use English in their job or studies.

Business people who operate in technical, logistics, administration, personnel, sales & marketing and planning departments.

Business people who want to improve proficiency in the language of meetings, negotiations and selling situations, etc.

Business people or students who want to revise or extend their knowledge of the English language and want to break through the 'intermediate plateau'.

Business people or students who want to complement their existing conventional language training course with a computer-based language training course.

Learners who are undertaking Business English examinations.

Learners who intend to enter the world of work and need to have a good knowledge of English.

Entry Level

Learners should be at a level approximately equivalent to ALTE Level 3; Council of Europe Common European Framework Vantage Level or B2; Cambridge Level 3; London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board Third Level (Vantage).

Learners can cope with everyday social and business situations. They can understand the overall meaning and key points of phone conversations, general business letters and other documentation, presentations or discussions both of a general nature and within the learner's field of specialisation. They have a broad enough structural and lexical range and a degree of fluency and spontaneity to make interaction possible without much strain. They can write business letters and simple reports.
